As Chief Digital Information Officer, Russell leads DXC Technology’s Enterprise IT organization. His focus is on helping the company move faster, work smarter and better serve customers around the world, while ensuring the technology that runs DXC is reliable, secure and built to support how the business operates today.

Russell has been with DXC for nine years and is responsible for DXC’s technology environment, from cloud platforms and applications to collaboration, data, AI and cybersecurity. He leads the modernization of systems and tools, helps teams use data and automation more effectively, and ensures new technology is introduced responsibly and at scale. One great example of that is LabX, our digital incubation program launched this year.

Leading a global team of around 1,500 IT professionals, Russell works closely with leaders across the company to turn technology into real results. He is passionate about building strong teams, encouraging learning and collaboration, and making technology easier to understand and use. All of this helps to position DXC as a digital-first, AI-enabled services company.

Prior to being named CDIO, Russell held numerous positions at DXC, including sales operations, bid and proposal management, and numerous global IT functions.

Russell lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife and three children. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, UK.
