Leonard Green is the Vice President of Customer Success (Sales Tech). In this role Leonard leads a department of 160+ Customer Success Consultants and Technology Specialist that enable the adoption of customer experience driven technology to drive a faster, seamless, optimized sales cycle.
Prior to that, Leonard served as the Sr. Director of Change Management (Sales), responsible for driving the thoughtful strategy and execution of all changes effecting Northwestern Mutual’s sales force of 8000+ financial advisors. Leonard joined Northwestern Mutual in 2017 as a Principal (Sr. Director), leading sales performance oversight teams in the Southern region of the United States. In this role, he partnered with Northwestern Mutual field leaders to strategically growth plan, and align to company priorities.
Prior to Northwestern Mutual, Leonard worked at General Electric (Aviation division) in various capacities. Starting on one of GE’s renowned Leadership Development Programs he completed rotations in Government Operations, Marketing and Customer Support before serving as the Product Manager of engine lines operated in Japan, Taiwan, S. Korea & Singapore. In his final role at GE, Leonard served as a Digital Product Manager leading the agile development of digital predictive analytic tools to enable process improvement tools.
Prior to GE, Leonard served as an Officer in the United States Navy. During his Naval service, he completed two combat deployments and one humanitarian deployment before returning to the United States Naval Academy to lead the admissions and recruiting efforts of the Northeast United States.
Leonard graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and holds a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University. When he’s not working, he and his wife Kamari are chasing their children, Lake (10) and Locke (8) around courts, fields and tracks.
